The Sabah Housing and Real Estate Developers Association (“SHAREDA”, “we”, “our”, or “us”) respects and is committed to protecting your personal data in accordance with the Personal Data Protection Act 2010 (“PDPA”) of Malaysia.

5. Photography, Videography & Media Usage

Please note that photographs, videos, live recordings, interviews, or other media content may be captured during the Event.

By attending SHAREDA PROPEX 2026, you consent to the use, reproduction, publication, and distribution of such media content by SHAREDA for purposes including but not limited to:

• Marketing and promotional campaigns
• Social media postings
• Newsletters and publications

No compensation shall be payable for such usage.

USER AGREEMENT / TERMS & CONDITIONS

SHAREDA PROPEX 2026

By registering for and attending SHAREDA PROPEX 2026 (“the Event”), you agree to comply with the following Terms & Conditions set forth by SHAREDA.

1. Registration & Eligibility

• Participation in SHAREDA PROPEX 2026 is strictly open to Malaysian citizens and residents aged eighteen (18) years and above only.
• By registering for the Event, participants confirm and warrant that they meet the stated eligibility requirements.
• All registration information submitted must be true, accurate, and complete.
• SHAREDA reserves the right to request proof of age, identity, citizenship, or residency for verification purposes at any time.
• SHAREDA reserves the right to reject, suspend, or cancel any registration deemed fraudulent, misleading, duplicated, incomplete, or inappropriate.
• Registration may be subject to verification and approval by the organiser.

2. Event Admission & Entry

• Participants may be required to present proof of registration, QR code confirmation, identification documents, or other verification materials for entry.
• Entry passes, badges, QR codes, or registration confirmations are non-transferable unless otherwise approved by the organiser.
• SHAREDA reserves the right to refuse admission or remove any individual from the Event premises without refund or compensation if deemed necessary for safety, security, or operational reasons.

3. Participant Conduct

All participants are expected to behave professionally and respectfully throughout the Event.

Participants shall not:

• Engage in disruptive, abusive, threatening, or unlawful behaviour
• Cause damage to event property, venue facilities, or exhibitor booths
• Distribute unauthorized promotional materials or conduct unauthorized sales activities
• Interfere with event operations or security procedures

SHAREDA reserves the right to take appropriate action against any participant who violates these conditions.

4. Exhibitor & Promotional Engagement

Participants acknowledge that:

• The Event serves as a platform connecting visitors with exhibitors, developers, sponsors, and industry partners
• Enquiries, registrations, scans, or interactions at exhibitor booths may result in follow-up communications from the respective exhibitors or partners
• SHAREDA shall not be responsible for any independent transactions, negotiations, or agreements entered into between participants and exhibitors or third parties

5. Photography & Recording Consent

By attending the Event, participants consent to:

• Photography, videography, live streaming, and media recordings conducted during the Event
• The use of such recordings by SHAREDA for publicity, advertising, promotional, archival, and commercial purposes without compensation or prior approval

6. Lucky Draws, Contests & Promotions

Participation in any lucky draw, giveaway, contest, or promotional activity during the Event shall be subject to:

• Additional terms and conditions imposed by the organiser or sponsoring party
• Verification of participant eligibility and compliance with event requirements

SHAREDA reserves the right to:

• Amend or cancel any promotional activity without prior notice
• Disqualify participants found to have breached any rules or provided false information

7. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law:

• SHAREDA shall not be liable for any personal injury, illness, loss, theft, damage, delay, inconvenience, or expense incurred during or arising from participation in the Event
• Participants attend and participate in the Event at their own risk
• SHAREDA makes no representations or warranties regarding products, services, offers, or information presented by exhibitors, sponsors, or third parties

8. Event Changes & Force Majeure

SHAREDA reserves the right to:

• Modify the Event programme, venue, schedule, speakers, exhibitors, or activities at any time without prior notice
• Postpone, reschedule, shorten, or cancel the Event due to circumstances beyond reasonable control, including but not limited to:
  • Natural disasters
  • Government restrictions
  • Public health concerns
  • Technical disruptions
  • Security or safety issues

SHAREDA shall not be held liable for any losses or damages arising from such changes.

9. Intellectual Property

All event branding, logos, materials, content, visuals, and publications associated with SHAREDA PROPEX 2026 remain the property of SHAREDA or their respective owners.

No material may be reproduced, distributed, or commercially exploited without prior written consent.

10. Governing Law

These Terms & Conditions shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Malaysia.

Any disputes arising in connection with the Event shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Malaysia.
